What customers say?

“ This place is neatly tucked in with parking. That’s already a serious bonus. Food was excellent and service was top notch. Manned by a single person but we didn’t wait long to get our order nor did we wait very long for our food. That’s got to be the owner, I’ve never seen anyone move so fast and free and still maintain that smile unless it’s the owner. The only comment I have is that small little dish of gravy for $4 was extremely pricey but then I tasted it and knew that it was worth it. “Chicken gravy with a slight kick” so good you want to drink it like soup. The chicken burgers were well seasoned and tasty. For me, I really enjoyed the home style fries that had skins on them. Nice and crunchy and I also believe that’s homemade ketchup. What the hell is up with that homemade ketchup? It’s so good I’d buy it in a bottle and take it home. Just a really nice meal. I’m definitely coming back to try the chicken and waffles next time. ”

“ Very delicious Georgian cuisine and a great atmosphere. We had wanted to visit a Georgian place for a long time, but there simply weren’t any in Alberta before. Today, in honor of my birthday, we finally decided to try it. Google Maps first took us all the way to Sherwood Park, where we were told that the restaurant had moved. After that, we headed downtown to the new address. At first, I was looking for a place called Twist and Taste, but it turned out that the café is now called Waffle Bird — we found this out through Instagram. We truly enjoyed the meal. Yes, something was missing — Georgian music and a stronger Georgian style in the interior — but despite that, the food was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth trying. ”

“ New location and much better vibes. I feel like I've been transported back to the 90's with Garfield and Magic School Bus. The food was on point. I got the chicken and waffle and paid an extra $4 for one more piece of chicken. Everything was delish. Crispy and well-seasoned chicken. Loved the syrup on the waffles. Homemade fries with real ketchup were to die for. Stop coming to the McDonald's nearby and get out of your comfort zone. With how inflated McDonald's is you'd best come here and support local! ”

“ Very comfortable little shop to grab a great bite to eat. I ordered the meek freak and it was amazing. Also try their woahnuts. Waffle donuts. Adam served us and made the experience one that brings us back over and over ”

“ I absolutely love waffles, and I’m so happy I finally made it here! I cannot eat another bite, I’m so stuffed. I came with my mom and my kids, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Our server was super friendly and really made our experience awesome. We loved the white gravy and the coleslaw—they were fantastic! I’ll definitely be back, and I’m looking forward to brunch next time! ”

“ Well, you know this brother had to visit and review a chicken and waffles establishment...and it didn't disappoint! Lots of choices on the menu to appease all appetites! I will say, the "woahnut" (waffle donut) is outstanding so good, and very clever. If you've been curious about chicken n waffles, this place will satisfy curiosity and hunger! ”

“ Great little restaurant just south of Whyte Ave. And adjacent Gateway Blvd. Bright clean space with lots of seating, kitchen decor. Food was excellent and served with a smile! Had the angry bird sandwich with just the right mix of spices, toppings, and toasted bun. I like that they flatten the chicken breast first, makes for easier eating then places that don't. Everything is made from scratch including the delicious home fries and house ketchup. Less sugar, more tomatoes . I'll be back to try their signature waffles and chicken next! ”
